  • 5 Important Marketing Management Concepts

All marketing efforts guided by specific logics, strategies, concepts, or philosophies that guide business operations are referred to as marketing management philosophy. These marketing concepts should be applied in marketing activities.

There are five important philosophies and this philosophy is the concept that makes the main purpose of the company work.

Now the concepts/philosophies are explained in detail below.

1. Product design
The product concept is one of the oldest in business, and quite simply put, it is a philosophy that believes that goods/services can be found in many places if they are cheap. Then there can be no problem regarding the sale. The product concept is a company focusing on achieving high production efficiency, low cost, wide distribution and wide sales.

2. Product design
The brand concept prioritizes consumer preferences for products that offer the best quality, performance and functionality. The managers of these departments only focus on manufacturing superior products and improving them over time. Companies are always trying to improve their products and the basis of this thinking is to attract customers with good or better quality products. No new or improved product will be successful unless it is properly and correctly marketed, distributed, quality, advertised and sold.

3. The sales concept
The client is king. Without customers, your business cannot make a profit. The sales concept is aimed at getting customers to buy the product through strong sales and the promotional or advertising efforts of the organization. Therefore, the goal of a business is to ensure that products are sold while satisfying customers through sales techniques such as advertising and promotion. The main function of the concept of sale is to convert goods into money by fair or unfair means. The sale can only be successful in the short term, but not in the long term.

4. Marketing design
Success only depends on customer satisfaction. The basis of this thinking is that products are made from what consumers want, not what you can make or produce. You must do what you sell, not what you can sell. With this idea or concept in mind, businesses focus their marketing efforts for success. This marketing concept is a modern concept, and by adopting this concept, it is possible to make profits in the short or long term.

5. The concept of social marketing
This concept is very important for business and social organization. The company needs this concept to win the trust of the society and the society needs this concept for the welfare of the society. This concept is a step beyond the market concept. Business needs to consider the well-being of the whole society and we know that simply satisfying users will not help the business. This is by far the best marketing concept ever.

Marketing Management Philosophies

Therefore, to be successful in business, the marketer must have philosophies about consumers, competition, consumer awareness, etc.
