Delegation of Authority and Responsibility of Leader

Because a leader is a person, no leader can perform all tasks properly while maintaining leadership on one side. However, one person cannot perform all tasks. For this reason, what tasks need to be done to achieve organizational goals are shared with other qualified and experienced people in the organization. Even if all team members work together, success and failure will come in the name of the leader.

In order to achieve the goals, the leader can transfer part of his tasks to other experienced and qualified people. But the manager should always monitor the assigned tasks ie. If they succeed. On the other hand, the leader must carefully choose the right person to give them authority. Because if someone is a loser, the responsibility is on the head of the leader.

One thing should be clear here. Delegation of authority does not mean "transferring all duties and responsibilities to other shoulders". A leader cannot give his subordinates more freedom than he gets from his boss. In addition, the number of assigned tasks should be accepted by the manager's subordinates as completed on time and correctly.

Delegation of authority can work in the opposite direction for an organization. The responsible manager should monitor this issue closely. And the whole process is recognized as a delegation of authority and responsibility from the leader. Because only the leader is responsible for the success or failure of such a delegation.
