General Causes of Low Motivation among the Employees

Motivation is a process that motivates employees in their work and meets their needs. In an organization, the nature of all employees is not the same. There is some difference in their expectations. If management fails to motivate them, their performance will also be low due to low motivation. On the other hand, motivation is also related to morality . Because low motivation causes low morale. For this reason, management must continue the stimulus process.

But there are some reasons why motivation among employees is low. The government should be careful of this.

1. Ambiguous goals
Organizational goals can be achieved if goals are clearly defined. Because employees understand the purpose and can take responsibility. But if the target is not set, workers cannot take responsibility. As a result, they feel frustrated in their work.

2. Lack of feedback
Employees have to talk often. This conversation motivates employees. If workers do not understand their responsibilities, they can provide feedback and the authorities will take appropriate action. But the authorities won't take effective action against the comments if the conversation isn't effective.

3. Minimum professional training
Training is required for workers. The training gives him proper guidance of his duties and responsibilities. But if they don't have the opportunity to learn, they don't get proper guidance. They cannot pay their debts. As a result, they feel dissatisfied.

4. Dirty work area
Another important incentive is a good working environment. It should be peaceful. But if there is chaos in the workplace, workers are unhappy. Workers show no respect for authority. They do not follow organizational rules. As a result, employees have lost hope of working in the organization. Hence, workplace chaos results in low employee motivation.

5. Social support or distraction
If the organization has a communication system between the employees and the authorities, the employees can share their opportunities and problems with the authorities. As a result, civil servants have lost the motivation to work. They don't show their success and get frustrated.

This causes low motivation. For these reasons there is frustration among the workers. As a result, they are not motivated and their performance can decline. So the authorities should deal with this issue and try to motivate the employees to get the best return from them.
