Disappointment is a human state of mind.

Normally, a person can face many problems, accidents and obstacles in his daily life. Because of these obstacles, one could easily become disillusioned with the path of life.

Since frustration is a person's mental state, a frustrated person may show different types of abnormal actions.

The disappointment is not visible. But the behavior of the affected person is observed.

By observing an upset person, one can determine the intensity of his frustration.


01. Apathy. Apathy is the main sign of frustration. Most of the time, a depressed person cannot function with their mind fully focused.

By the way, a person avoids doing everything.

There is no normal activity in daily activities as before. The smile is almost gone.

02. Worrying. Another common symptom of frustrated or angry behavior is a disruptive ability or tendency to be aggressive.

When a person is frustrated, they can engage in destructive behavior. On the other hand, it should be noted that if a frustrated person is unable to attack the controlled person, he may attack others who are close to him and dependent on him.

Being angry for no reason, often grumbling about something, and criticizing management is also manifested in this type of aggressive behavior.

03. Relapse. Sometimes a frustrated person can act like a child. Retreat is the opposite of aggressive or destructive behavior.

Not all frustrated people act the same way. One can be destructive, the other reactionary. The reactionary behavior is childish and primitive.

If a person experiences disappointment, instead of showing a constructive streak, he can show primitive and childish behavior.

04. Projection. Projection refers to projecting the offender's behavior onto others.

When a person exhibits this type of disturbing behavior, they are usually unable to recognize their own faults or guilt.

The most important thing is that such a frustrated person should never think that he is the root cause of the problem.

Some other symptoms of neurotic behavior:

  5. Sublimation to achieve an alternative goal instead of the primary goal.

Since frustration is a mental issue and the state of mind varies from person to person, frustrated behavior can be different for different people.

However, most of the above symptoms appear in people with depression.

If the management maintains the above characteristics among its employees, then the management should focus on the source of frustration and look for the common causes of frustration in the industry and try to eliminate them. Because a frustrated person can be less productive and detrimental to the organization .
