What is Oral Communication

Speech communication is one of the many forms of communication provided by the sender through spoken language . It takes the form of speaking and listening. This is done through words arranged in meaningful patterns.


Verbal communication takes place through group discussions, lectures, face-to-face conversations, on the telephone, and through meetings and conferences.

Oral communication conveys a wide range of news, information, social and business trends more accurately and quickly than the most commonly used formal communication channels. Thus, oral communication refers to the following business conversations, face-to-face conversations, telephone conversations, radio broadcasts, interviews, group discussions, meetings, conferences, seminars, lectures, etc.

Speech communication is used when a quick means of communication is required or information must be conveyed directly. With the help of oral communication, the management can spread the information to the concerned people in a very short period of time.
